My senior thesis at the Rhode Island School of Design is a collection of silkscreens and knitwear. Inspired by the jumble of colors and textures in a fruit salad I used bold color to amplify this mishmash, creating a lush vibrant palette. Building off of the tradition of family vacations in Michigan, this collection is inspired by the simplest summer pleasure: eating fruit salad at a picnic. I strove to evoke the magic, sweetness, and abundance of these summers.
